Google Business Plan 1

Additional business unit

Google For Hire: Press Release 1 10.06.2006 0300 GMT 

Do you have a solution that you believe pure thought can solve? Does your company have problems that seem insurmountable but you simply want the best potential growth? Do you think intelligent individuals with the ability to put their ideas directly into products can benefit you? So do we.

Meet the Google Consultation Group. We will offer our group think to your company for use as you please. The benefit of using Google is that we offer many ways for your company to benefit from our group of minds.

On a consistent basis we have held conferences from various groups around the country looking to solve certain types of problems (see the Archimedes Palimpsest on http://video.google.com ) and we have been able to created efficient clean and intelligent results which have led to amazing increased in productivity and company benefit. One “mash-up” we created for the group in the above video was the ability for various peoples to access an online Google Maps like GUI and enter various comments on different sections. We then tied the visual data comments directly to our Google Groups (http://groups.google.com/group/The-Archimedes-Palimpsest) so many more people could join in on the discussion in a traditional forum. After their conversation finished they went over to our newly created source code portal, http://code.google.com/, where you software was then fed to the world to be focused on while random millions peruse over your documents.

There were many other achievements that were created but, most importantly, we believe that through our focus and hard work we have enabled more of our ancient history to come back into the folds of human history.

How can Google help you?

Software coders, intelligent group discussions, world wide markets of amateur who are already focused on similar things as well the beautiful touch of allowing your idea and problem be displayed to the world through the Google marketing prism.

Religion

The rationalization of religion. Why is it here in the first place? Why do we believe in the fanciful things we believe in? The oldest groups on this planet whisper to beings they believe are of the Earth and part of it. They worship the Earth itself. It answers all questions and allows understanding to permeate.

People seek religion to help explain things. To give them the answers to their everyday quandaries which confuse them and leave them without knowledge of what is going on around them. It is a fearful thing to not understand and not be able to predict tomorrow of the day after that. So we create answers based upon what we find to be the most rational answer. We think. How could something as great as existence come to be? Why do the skies scream light and pummel with water and rumble with thunder? Why do animals breathe and chase and run and play? Why do birds fly? How do we live? Where do we come from? How is a child inside of a womb created? What magical processes allow such amazing sequences of actions come together with such perfect harmony that we are given the amazing gift of existence? We create, in our minds, beings that have power beyond our comprehension. We give them names. And we say they know of us and love us. We are not flawed in these beliefs; we are simply ignorant of the systems of the world.

Things come to be as they are because there are rules. These rules are fairly simple. Right now we are limited in our descriptions of these rules as we haven’t as of yet discovered what they are all. Gravity is a significant one that we can understand based upon our daily interactions with it. Everything pulls toward itself everything else. The largest something is the greater its pull. The closer you are to said something the greater its affect on you. We describe this gravity well with simple equations: √(m1-m2)^2/(d1-d2)^2. In real words, the square root of the difference in mass squared divided by the difference in the distance squared. This tells us the force between the two. To say we understand where this force arises from would be a lie. We don’t know. But we know it is there and we can describe it.

In time we will learn of a single rule which ties together all of these other rules. We have discovered that magnetism and electricity are the same thing. Light is a visible form of energy and energy happens to be a way of describing matter. Matter is everything that is. We now have certain groups of people that believe in String Theory. An amazing idea that contends to say that atomic particles are not the end of what is. That building blocks go far farther. Incomprehensibly tiny strings vibrating.

Yeah…religion. No longer a needed evil except for those who cannot conceive the brilliance of science nor understand that just because we don’t know doesn’t mean it is unexplainable and from some amazing being.

15.3.06

The Beginning or the End? ...maybe neither...

Where does it end?

At first we were made of four elements; fire, water, earth and phlegm (and definitely something before the Greeks). Then it became to be made out of made of atoms. Eventually it was known that atoms were themselves made of three types of particles. Overtime we found that there were a significantly larger number of particles that made up atoms. Later we found still smaller pieces that actually made up the various particles within our atoms. Now we theorize that little tiny vibrating strings and the end of the line in this existence.

The other direction feels almost the same. In the beginning there was man and he lived on Earth. This earth was floating in a fluid and powerful beings shown through this liquid to let us know of their presence in the sky. The Earth was existence. We realized that the giant bringer of heat and light that strode across the sky was actually an independent creature from us. And there were other similar little bodies just like us. We saw sparks of light fly across the sky (comets) and sometimes they flew nearby us and landed with loud explosions. We were taught that we are in this solar system, a loosely grouped body drawn in, but always falling, toward the giver of light. Later, we saw that those Gods in the sky were actually other light givers, other Suns that had their own place. Eventually a structure in which the closest suns were ordered became obvious to us. We named it the Milky Way. The next logical step was the knowledge of many such creatures similar to our own galaxy. An entire Universe filled with amazing bodies that flitter across the expanse. As we reach toward the edge of our current knowledge great ideas have come from math that tell us the only way we are is if there are dimensions grander that what we can conceive. And finally, new “M” theory says there potentially are an infinite number of realities, all infinitesimally close but unable to be perceived by our currently designed senses. Here we stop. For now.

Why stop? Why should it ever stop? Our minds tell us that there must be a beginning as well an end. It is only logical and rational. How can something be, if it never became, because nothing is static.

Layers upon layers. Strings to membranes. The fluid is always within a container. It seems to me that nothing can exist without it being contained within something. And that something itself falls prey to the same logic. And the opposite direction holds true as well. I have never found a single thing ever, which has completely been broken down to all of its parts as all of those parts themselves are containers of still smaller parts. If we are to follow evidence, reality goes on infinitely in both directions, forever getting smaller and forever getting grander in scale.

Of course perception of said scale is significant. The bacterium that exists on our skin has no concept of time nor space but lives in a world that is no greater, no lesser, than what is around it. The idea of existing on a being full of parts pushing and pulling is beyond its comprehension. Does life of some sort exist on the surface of a proton? Are there creatures which live on the surfaces of galaxies? What entity look up from the strings we theorize of and wonders what could possibly exist on those odd creatures far above it?

Growing

I know...long ass link. What it says is that human are still evolving. Scientifically. Measurably. it can be seen with our own eyes. Now to some of you this just seems like common sense, as there is no logical reason to ever assume that just because we became "sentient" we stopped evolving. We still choose based upon whims we don't understand. We are still strung along the path that nature has created for us. We vary as a (correct me if I am wrong, but I consider all humans a species and then the various varients of humans sub-species ; kinda like the finches of Golapagos Islands) species greatly in some of our attributes. I makes me smile and feel a little safer to know there is so much genetic variatoion in our world. It is important...species survival.

Lets work on this global goal thing. Its more important...

World War III

China takes steps to impose its will upon the ever resistant island, Taiwan. In a near instant ships encircle and block aide any foreign intervention. Satellites are blocked and cell phones shut down, as well all over data transmission from the island state.

It falls off the map. The United States rumbles. Japan screams worldwide. The Koreas respond pro-China. North Korea demonishes the beast. Mother Russia quietly watches. The Europeans cry out in the name of freedom! The Suanese praise those who hold onto their own. Venezuela preaches against the evils of imperialism. Vive la revolucion! India preaches temperance. The Saudi's tell us of the importance of a strong central government.

Week Two. Satellite photos of abuse leak out. Ships sneaking through the snares hear radio communications. It becomes public the consequences for revolution are death. The United Nation speaks out against China. The Security Council is brought to the table. The mouths speak.

China widens its hold in the ocean. Japan complains of encroachment. The Koreas seeth. The Northern one readies himself. A short time into the morning a small missle heads off. In an ocean not far away a military skiff opens fire on a traveling vessel. The missle sputters to land failing to detonate.

Stress.

The Goog

Google. What an interesting topic. Everybody loves to write about Google. It gets good ratings (maybe Google has a bonus spot in its search algorithms that increase your page raking in random areas if your object online contains the word “Google” …cough…Google…ahem…). Because people LOVE reading and knowing what Google is going to do next. You cannot be left behind the revolution. I have watched Google evolve. And I have seen Google grow from the stage of Holy Shit Cool! to company that is revered for its intelligence but also feared for what it could do with said intelligence.

Newer products from Google include Google Desktop which will nicely allow you to share documents and files over the internet. Caveat – they have to be in possession of said files. In a digital format of course. But none the less, no longer in your possession. A fearful prospect indeed. Until you imagine that Google simply want 100% of the people in the world to use this service. At that point, randomly moving through documents for nuggets of value to rule the world would become rather…ineffective. Google brags to have 8 pillion or even 16 billion web pages and other items indexed. Imagine if every human starting saving every document. I have 5000 emails on their program already…and this in the last two years. Another 3,000 documents. I know I am above the average by far…but not for long. 10,000,000,000 people. Average 1,000 items. (add three zeros) – 10,000,000,000,000. Trillion. In addition to that big intarnet thing.

It’s about data. Knowledge acquisition and distribution. Read Neuromancer.. The internet is a beast to become. We have just let it loose.

Google is now talking about something like a G-Drive. A storage place on their hardware for global access (kinda like what apple does with .mac – if not exactly). People have done it in the past. None were worth $100 billion. Again. Like above. Data. Yeah the Feds might get in there one day. Keep your pot brownie recipes elsewhere. Data. Knowledge.

Google’s G-mail. Scanning your email to make relevant ads. The different places in which knowledge exist are many. Who is to say the cure for cancer won’t first be discussed in an email. If that happens and one day emails like this are considered public communication or some other revolutionary re-socialization we have learned becomes we will all be instantly benefited by the instant communication to all of such information. The world will change. Earth is evolving.

Eventually we will move away from complicated individual devices. Who needs all this processing power within you hands when the next first ever quantum computer will probably have the power of the fastest supercomputer at its time. It will then multiply in power 10,000 times in 5 years. The operating system will become a much simpler beast.

Oh yeah…and Google probably won’t exist. They will have morphed into something farther and greater. Hopefully…that damn global warming thing is still out there.

The Implosion IV

First the stressed national guard. Who are already double taxed by the war on terror and other interventions in the world. Then the United States Army. This, at one point in time, was blasphemy. The President of the United States has never put troops on American soil. Now they have. New Orleans. Precedent set. FEMA takes over and orders martial law. The government bungles. Thousands begin reaching a breaking point. Masses of people are moving north in a human convoy. Fights. Theft. Murder. Police lack the ability to control and maintain order. Military choppers patrol the sky barking down orders to0 civilian patrols (armed patriots the politicians call them). The ultra liberal as well as the ultra conservatives gasp as the heavy handed government. Rumored execution squads circulate as unprotected civilians band together to secure resources such as food and water.

All public services have fallen. Communication is cut with the outside world. The region goes dark. More rumors. Pets cooked. Nearby nature hunted to devastation. The oceans flooded with small fishing vessels. Mass graves outside of hospitals. Graves in peoples back yards. The lights go out.

The ending was sharp. But long ago you accepted the potential of South Florida becoming a disaster area. Full of casualties.

The Implosion III

The society begins to crash in upon itself. 5.2 million people attempt to evacuate. Who will accept the waves of immigrants. Who will move them? No gas. The supply lines have been ruptured. Society is beginning to stress. Lines become unruly. Two months of no electricity is a wet summer. New Orleans broke down after about two weeks.

Large masses of people are living off of the government. Little disease groupings begin to appear. West Nile virus causes some panic. Standing water everywhere. More rain. Less food. The Iraqis Freedom Fighters launched an attack. Bringing the war inside of the Green Zone. The worlds attention and care averted.

Regions become controlled by local police only as resources limit driving. Rumbles in the masses as poor groups begin to seriously stress the lacking access to resources. The wealthier stockpiles are beginning to thin as well. Los Angeles broke down. Riots consume South Florida.

Bird Flu reaches us. Currently China is bracing for a Spring outbreak. Frances chicken exports across the world have been made illegal. It will be here soon. People panic. Another hurricane comes up the valley. People scream north. Chaos controls. No food. No fuel. No one cares.

3.3.06

The Implosion Part II

Natural climatic changes have brought along a world heavy with air disturbances (fuck global warming, its gonna happen anyway naturally). The northern region of the country is getting over a heavy winter. We now believe a European firgidly cold winter lead to stresses which lit the flames of the French Revolution. There was a cold period on the Earth during the 500-800s or so and again in the 1400-1800s or so. Who is to say it isn't to happen again.

The United States is holding ground in a deeply invested war that is stressing the manufacturing limits. Hitler was a beast which attempted to roll across a planet saying his thought oif government was right. The secular socialists/capitalist oligarchy which is ruled by heavily intrenched powerful governmental factions. That is the United States today/

Now break some parts. Hurricane George , a small quick category two, comes across the state from south and just off Miami coming heading North. It rips up the turnpike and I-95 (our two veins of traffic to the outside world) leaving debris all across the roads. A nasty storm. But this is just the slight little baby storm that was a freak and caught everyone off guard. Still...like Wilma it will cover a large swath of populated ground and stressed resources. Then a nasty beast Hurricane Francine starts real deep in the Caribbean and roars across our island neighbors to as a five just breaking to a large slowly moving sweltering Cat 3 and just smashes against the coast mid-county level (imagine the region as a single entity). Real hard in succession we get some serious damage. We still haven't completely recovered from this past years storms. The region is stressed. A hot sweltering summer rolls across the region. Hospitals are hurting. The price of gasoline is already stressed. Another hurricane rips through the region and leaves damn near 99% of the region without electricity after which it rolls across the Gulf and destroys more oil platforms. A little island of people struggle on the edge of a lurching machine. Across the Midwest tornados rip large shards of the land with precision limiting certain levels of assistance bring the whole nation to its feet. Then completely out of the blue an earthquake. Specialists are struggling across the country. Another hurricane. Its already happened this way two years in a row. That year, six hurricanes happen to hit us. And one or two fight through Georgia. And as a final gift to our country flooding immerses Washington and New York as an extended warm ocean zone shoots continually father north in an extended season ( a heavy tropical storm spun around this year at the end of December). The whole country is pounded. Flooding slows the process.

South Florida at this point will receive minimal support relative to what it would need as resources would be stretched nationwide. We have no way to produce most of our needs. No major food production. No serious factories (except sugar). Most of our economy is service based. Millions suddenly without electricity for three weeks. Hospitals flood. No electricity for 6 weeks. In a sweltering summer the aged begin to wilt. France lost greater than 10,000 in recent heat waves. Trucks can only feed 20% of population. Supplies of dry goods run low. Another hurricane rips across the northern part of the county, damaging the Port of Palm Beach. New stresses are placed on southern airports and ports recovering from earlier hurricanes.

The world is on a string. A thin sliver of a digital string. Our efficiency has put us in a position to hurt us. The whole runs world runs just on time. Population increases. Society draws more. The machine is stressed by a simple single factor increase. The world machine suffer as well. As the whole planet is engulfed.

The rules change.

The Implosion I

The world is a growing evolving morphing system. We have rode over this planet like ants slowly finding a way across the backs of all the other ants to finally cover the entirety of a candy apple. We are slowly reaching points of world development we have never conceived. Populations have risen to the point that without a well oiled machine the system would collapse. The United States if broken into independent little pieces could very quickly become a hazardous festering wound. Imagine Katrina, Los Angeles Riots, where societal control was given at the behest of the people. I live in South Florida. And if a series of hurricanes were to strike the state in succession we would have a natural disaster of such proportions that the country would go into shock.

In order to feed large populations on such short immediate notice. Our world is a ready to order swift and efficient machine. Things are done immediately in a well connected communicating planet. When you buy a candy bar the factory knows. It replaces the candy bar. Not everyone is that efficient...but they will be soon. Independently and quickly. Its moves pretty well on the corporate level. We have snakes that roll across the country and feed the parts.

South Florida is unique. It is an island of sorts. A little tropical jewel. We are a single interconnected little piece of the the much larger beast. Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. There are now strings attaching these areas to the outside world...but they are just little strings. I-95. The Florida Turnpike. I-75. A few smaller intercounty highways - 27, 441...and I am sure a lot more little roads. We do have a plentiful supply of airports. Large and small well dispersed across the land. But airports are fickle creatures. Some large ports as well. We are a decent sized beast down here. 5.2 million people

innocense

Today two things happened...

1. Someone proposed to me the abomindable idea that the United States of American could be invaded by another country.

2. I watched someone play Call of Duty on a 10 foot screen off of an X-Box.

A slight shock reverberated through me as I realized my naivete. I had no idea what I was talking about. There is absolutely no reason to ever consider that the mainland of the United States of America couldn't be invaded. Things fall apart. Though we do have one very long standing account of the British hanging around for almost 1,000 years without a successful mainland invasion. Pretty solid for such a small island. There is no reason to not consider the potential of a revolution in these United States. They occur. Economic revolutions change things as well. When the government loses the ability to protect and take care of its people things will change quickly. There is no reason to consider that we have a proper system chosen as of now. Our forefathers were intelligent men, but they never considered the potentials of managing a system as huge as this.

Surprise

It has become apparent
That there is a truth

This thing we do
and life we live
It’s how we walk
and why we talk
It’s what we are
and who we love
It’s how we think
and what we like
It’s what we touch
and how it feels

It came to me in an emotion
It let me know and I was smitten
