There will rise a set of rules. These rules will not come from a book written by a man told to him by his almighty. These will not come from some sort of inalienable rights bestowed upon us from the heavens. These rights, these rules, these common sense pieces of knowledge will come to as a common agreement among all sentient beings on this planet simply as a byproduct of the system acting in its own best interest. We will learn that when we murder someone else our ability to live, anywhere, will cease to be in any sense human. Forever the knowledge of you will reverberate throughout society and as a subpart of your existence. To steal from another will make the price you pay to exist rise in proportion with you crime, making it, at least from a logical position, more costly to steal. Society as the police force, will always be able to hunt you down. The truth that I believe now, is that a certain set of law have arisen to be such a common sense that we have already chosen as a group what we believe to be proper. Most all of the religions and laws of countries have a law against the murder of another. The cost varies all over the world, but there is a belief on a world level that murder is bad. Maybe we should just average out all of the legal systems on the entire planet and run by that set of rules as a general guideline at the United Nations. We are an intelligent race. We do have a social intelligence. We may not speak like a mound of ants just yet, but soon we will.
Knowledge and exchange of knowledge brings some pain, the loss of a certain set of freedoms. The freedom to escape your past possibly.
