Infinity

With infinity a new set of potentials arise. Very simply, at any point in which infinity is entered into an equation the potential answers of said equation as well moves toward infinity. A real mathematician may be able to find a flaw in the logic somewhere, but from a base level I can explain where this is going to and it will then make sense.

If time is infinite then potentials are infinite. If potentials are infinite then all things will occur. If all things can occur then there is no possibility of there being any single thing which cannot occur (I know obvious, but I am building a path toward something). If no single thing cannot occur then that means for every single problem that we look at and are unable to solve there lies an answer somewhere, as eventually, in an infinite world, there is a solution.

Now, here is the kicker, at least I think. If infinity is a possibility and in that possibility all things can potentially happen, even in a universe in which there is no infinity and not all things will happen, all things could happen as all problems still have solutions. The only limiting factor that infinity puts on the discovery of solutions is time, not possibility of occurring. Obviously, the less time available the less potential time to discover many random things…but that does not remove the potential of an infinite set of answers, merely that there is a limited time to read them over.

What this really means…anything can be accomplished. We simply must figure it out. There is nothing that cannot be done. To make things disappear using only your mind isn’t anymore impossible because there is the potential for some version of human to evolve into controlling the very nature of matter; small possibility, but a non-zero value. Life can be infinitely long. Computers can think. The universe can be traversed in the blink of an eye. Nothing is impossible with an infinite set of solutions.

A brave new world…not really…it has always been there. Just us getting smarter.
