Google officily unvield their plan for sending out free 300kbs wireless to the residents and visitors in San Franciso. FREE. Why? Because now they can perfectly target their ad experience. They know EXACTLY where you are and can make advertisers pay premium for your eyes. And now that they know who you are on a very simplistic nature the ads wont eb annoying...because they are local and in some sort of way focused on you from your desires. Inteliigent advertising. Free internet access...of course you need a computer, a wifi card and to live in San Francisco ($$$)...but other than that its free. I want to buy a laptop for every homeless person in San Fran now (maybe one of those 100$ MIT developed laptops - http://laptop.media.mit.edu/ )
